Building Cleaning Services

What Heritage Building Restoration Services do you provide?

Soda Blasting

Soda blasting is a non-abrasive, eco-friendly cleaning method that delivers excellent results when restoring historic character in buildings.

Soda blasting is a sympathetic surface cleaning method that cleans without damaging the substrate materials, specifically designed for building conservationprojects.

Soda blasting involves firing specially-graded sodium bicarbonate crystals at surfaces at speed to remove unwanted deposits such as graffiti, algae and years of ingrained dirt without causing damage and restoring buildings.

Heated Steam Cleaning

Super-heated steam cleaning is used for gentle and effective cleaning and restoration on all building conservation projects, proven todeliverlong term results.

This tried and tested method uses low-pressure, super-heated steam up to 120 degrees to remove unwanted wear and tear and surface contaminants from various materials.

Steam cleaning is suitable for use on brick, stone, masonry and building cladding. The use of heated steam allows for fast drying and avoids the need for high-pressure jetting which can cause damage.

Regular upkeep of buildings and heritage restoration involves routine cleaning and inspections to preserve structural integrity, reduce the risk of long-term damage and unnecessary expenses, and maintain the property’s value. Regular maintenance also promotes safety and minimises downtime for public-accessible buildings.

Repair work is more extensive than maintenance and involves fixing decay, damage, or wear and making minor adaptations for sustainability without altering or restoring the building. It is essential to preserve a building’s significance and ensure its continued use.

To achieve this, it is crucial to identify the values that make it significant and evaluate how repair work will affect those values.

Here’s how we helped Overbury Plc with their building restoration and heritage building restoration work:
